"This is a cros section of the community," township supervisor Chairman David Breon said Friday, "and each the same of these groups has represented a sincere desire to be a part of the discussion about these lands, their use, their protection."
The Pittsburgh-based Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has begun an $11000 field audit of the 1600 acres of Rockview state prison land that is planned for conveyance to the township, Penn State, the state Fish and Boat Commission and the state Department of General Services.
