BELLEFONTE -- A Maryland man is scheduled for a preliminary hearing today upon charges he raped an unconscious and intoxicated Penn State scholar at a party in State society in October.

BELLEFONTE -- A Maryland man is scheduled for a preliminary hearing today upon charges he raped an unconscious and intoxicated Penn State scholar at a party in State society in October.

Brian Michael Conway, 21 of 5325 Westbard Ave., Apt. 326 Bethesda, Md is charged with rape, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault stemming from an incident State guild police said happened Oct. 9 in an apartment along the 400 shut up of East Beaver Ave.

The victim told police she was at a party at that apartment and that she had passed on the outside from drinking, according to court documents.

She awoke to find Conway forward top of her and having sex with her, police said. becoming to her intoxication, the woman could not fight at all, according to court papers.

Police said sperm found in the victim's panties matched Conway's DNA profile
